Some fall outings

Our annual trip to Osborn Family Farm.

Can't trust em!

This picture totally shows how all the kids were initially afraid of the scarecrow - minus Jameson (LOL) ;)

No one told him to do that pose - I swear!

Collecting gourds for her basket.

Jameson holding Rosie the tarantula at the Butterfly Pavilion.

Walking around with butterflies overhead.

Lots of impromptu hugs to Ava's friend Malia :)

Looking for and watching butterflies.
Trip to Miller Farms to pick bags and bags of produce.  This is on the hayride out to the fields.  Jameson kept telling Ava to hold his hand so she wouldn't fall off.

Unfortunately, the pumpkin stop was the only one I took at photo at.  The pickings were so slim that I didn't need to do much...at the other stops my hands were super busy picking produce.

I think Jameson's carting the heaviest load and Ava's got the luckiest trips back to the car.  I'm pulling my own wagon loaded with our produce bags - onions, corn, kale, carrots, potatoes, peppers, etc.
Denver Zoo trip...gotta have lots of snacks!

Towards the end of the day, the kids found this jumping exhibit.  They had so much fun, but I knew with how tired they were that it was inevitable that one of them would get hurt.  Sure enough, it was Ava - she landed on her feet and fell face forward.  That made it a little easier to convince the kids it was time to leave the zoo...finally!

Lee Martinez Farm in Fort Collins.

Beautiful fall day.

Kids kept crossing the creek over and over again.  Another one of those parenting moments when you're just waiting for the inevitable and sure enough - Jameson's feet landed in the creek.  He hates getting his feet wet when they aren't intended to be wet, so that signaled another "let's go" time!
