Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving preschool music performance.  What a fun way to kick off the holiday!

There was a fun set up for after the performance.  We went through the the yummy buffet line and then found our "seats" by looking for Jameson's name written on a rolled out sheet up paper on the floor.  It encouraged conversation with other families and gave the kids something to do while we ate.  I thought it was pretty clever!

Another little classmate who had a crush on Jameson.  Her younger sister's name is Ava, too!!

Each student had to design a turkey that said something about them.  Of course with it being football season, Jameson immediately thought of a "Green Bay Packers" turkey...and the boy loves his m&m's :)

Early November Girls' Weekend

Natalie, Everett and my mom came out for a visit in early November.  It was my sister's first visit since we moved into the new house.  This picture is from a lunch out during a day trip into Old Town.  Rob stayed home with Jameson and Ava and we took Everett with us.

Cutest one at our table!

A girls night out in Old Town :)  How terrible is this - we were forced to start with dessert first because of the earlier closing hours of the chocolate bar ;)

Cheese and wine bistro for a drink and some appetizers before feasting on an Italian dinner.

Streets of Old Town between apps and dinner.

Playing with Grandma Lou Lou.

We took Everett for his first hair cut and he did great!

Lots of kisses for cousin Everett.

Ava wanting to help feed "baby" Everett.

Everett at 10 months old.  They grow up so fast - especially when they're this little!!!

Easy there cousin Ava!

Some fall outings

Our annual trip to Osborn Family Farm.

Can't trust em!

This picture totally shows how all the kids were initially afraid of the scarecrow - minus Jameson (LOL) ;)

No one told him to do that pose - I swear!

Collecting gourds for her basket.

Jameson holding Rosie the tarantula at the Butterfly Pavilion.

Walking around with butterflies overhead.

Lots of impromptu hugs to Ava's friend Malia :)

Looking for and watching butterflies.
Trip to Miller Farms to pick bags and bags of produce.  This is on the hayride out to the fields.  Jameson kept telling Ava to hold his hand so she wouldn't fall off.

Unfortunately, the pumpkin stop was the only one I took at photo at.  The pickings were so slim that I didn't need to do much...at the other stops my hands were super busy picking produce.

I think Jameson's carting the heaviest load and Ava's got the luckiest trips back to the car.  I'm pulling my own wagon loaded with our produce bags - onions, corn, kale, carrots, potatoes, peppers, etc.
Denver Zoo trip...gotta have lots of snacks!

Towards the end of the day, the kids found this jumping exhibit.  They had so much fun, but I knew with how tired they were that it was inevitable that one of them would get hurt.  Sure enough, it was Ava - she landed on her feet and fell face forward.  That made it a little easier to convince the kids it was time to leave the zoo...finally!

Lee Martinez Farm in Fort Collins.

Beautiful fall day.

Kids kept crossing the creek over and over again.  Another one of those parenting moments when you're just waiting for the inevitable and sure enough - Jameson's feet landed in the creek.  He hates getting his feet wet when they aren't intended to be wet, so that signaled another "let's go" time!
