Midwest Trip (Part 1 of 3): Ohio

Yes!  Finally, Jameson has the attention span to "appreciate" the awesomeness of the iPad - a parent's savior at times :)  He and Rob sat together while Ava and I were in the row just behind and across from them (you can see my nursing cover in the background).  We got to the plane a little late and were the last to board (we almost missed the plane as we heard our names, including Jameson's, being called over the intercom system once we entered the terminal!).  Thank goodness once we got on the plane, the rest was a smooth ride!

Aunt Heidi and Uncle Pete offered us an amazingly comfortable stay, and probably didn't even know they were providing a new "in house" best friend for Jameson, too!

Jameson loved playing with and talking to Dixie (pictured) and Annie (out on the deck being attentively watched).

Ava happy in Aunt Heidi's arms :)

The reason for celebration - Dave graduated from Law School!!!

Congratulations Dave and Alecia!

Proud parents :)

The University of Akron law grads (Alecia, Dave, Laura and Uncle Pete).

As part of their graduation gift, the siblings gave the grads bottles of wine to celebrate recent accomplishments and future accomplishments (as we know they'll both nail the bar).  Draped on each bottle is a lawyer joke that Rob and I hand selected.  Some samples...
Q: How does an attorney sleep?
A: First he lies on one side, and then on the other.
Q: Why won't sharks attack lawyers?
A: Professional courtesy.
Q: What's the problem with lawyer jokes?
A: Lawyers don't think they're funny, and no one else thinks they're jokes.

"Isn't it a shame how 99% of the lawyers give the whole profession a bad name!"  Good thing Dave and Alecia help make up that 1% (hehe!).

On Monday while Dave and Alecia began their Bar studies, we had some time to relax and explore the area.  We headed to a park in Hudson and had a lot of fun expending some energy.
