| The Denver Zoo lights up annually at Christmas time and are just as much an attraction as the animals. It was a chilly night, but walking around with hot coco and excited kids made it a really fun evening :) Oh, and we were surprised to find that Santa Claus was also there!!! |

| Jameson's constant refrain throughout the night was "animals sleep h-e-r-e". I guess being at the zoo at night really made an impression on him - I'm not sure where he thought the animals went at night?!?! He loves the book Goodnight Gorilla in which the animals escape from their cages and follow the zoo keeper home to sleep in his bedroom. Maybe Jameson thought they went home with the zoo keeper? Hmmm....the mind of a toddler :) |
