NH Visit

Middle of June, we headed to visit family in New Hampshire.  These gardens are part of the grounds of Pickity Place, a great garden-to-table restaurant in rural NH.  Jameson loves animals, so seeing a "bunny" elicits an excited "Hop, Hop" from him!

We were excited to meet Alecia - Jameson made a new friend!

Jameson and Aunt Donna in the garden.

An afternoon hike to the top of a watchtower with Daddy.

It's important to stop and smell the flowers - in Jameson's case, he attempts to smell (and blow his nose) by quickly sniffing in and out.  At least he's got half the idea!

A day trip to Hampton Beach along the NH coast.

Father and son.

Fun on the beach with Grammy.   Inspired by the sand sculpture competition, Grammy brought some basic tools so Jameson could dig around in the sand.

Mommy and baby girl at 27 weeks.

Apparently we're very excited about the incoming wave.

Collaborating cousins.  Thank you Auntie Karen for the matching shirts....priceless!

All aboard!

Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary!  We all surprised Mom and Dad with a backyard celebration full of friends, family, and fun!

The festivities in full swing.  There was plenty of space inside and outside for socializing, with catered barbeque and gourmet cupcakes, posterboards documenting 40 years of family, and lawn games for adults and kids alike.

First and second cousins... they may soon be outnumbering us!

Siblings!  Welcome baby Sarah Marie - we love you!

We were happy to be able to time our visit to celebrate Sarah Marie's Baptism.

What a sweet little angel.  We are thrilled that our baby girl and her cousin Sarah will be so close in age.

Sandbox fun at the Landers' house after the Baptism.  This shady spot is under their new swing set.  Jameson had a blast digging in more sand and of course had a great time swinging as well.

Aunt Michelle and little Sarah

We took a quick trip over to Peach Tree Farm, an ice cream farmstand close to Grammy and Grandpa's house.  Jameson identifies a lot of animals by their noises: "Buk, buk, buk" for the chickens.  Little kids making animal noises is adorable, but I must admit that it took us by surprise the first time he identified his meal by saying, "Buk, buk, buk".  Hard to tell exactly what connections he's made...

It took him a few tries to muster up the courage, but Jameson eventually warmed up to feeding some clover to a friendly goat.

The four of us at the farm - we all enjoyed the ice cream!

Yum, yum!
