Our Birthdays

On the afternoon of Rob's birthday some friends offered to watch the kids and we were able to enjoy some sun and beer at one of Rob's favorite breweries.

For my birthday, we made a trip into Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.  This pic is of the kids being goofy while we stopped for some bagels and coffee on our way up the mountains.

A pit stop at the Cherry Store I've been wanting to pop into for years!  We always drive past in as we ride along the Big Thompson River toward Estes. I was soooo happy that we stopped.  There were so many yummy things inside and all of it brought back memories of my grandparents (the food, smells, friendliness of the workers and German music playing in the background).  They would have loved this little shop!

We decided that Sprague Lake would make for a perfect afternoon hike for these little ones.

Fun exploring off the beaten path.

The path around the lake has such pretty bridges and viewing spots.

After going around the lake, Jameson and I headed off on a trail (can't remember which one) for about a 45 minute hike.  He loved that it was just the two of us (well, three of us if you count the little one on the way!).  He still recalls the hike a year later!!

Along our stroll in downtown Estes for some food and drink, the kids developed a fascination with this wall and wanted their picture with it.  If I remember correctly, it had a hole in it (seen below) where they were able to fit in another rock.

20 week photo.  Baby #3 enjoyed the day, too!!!
