Jameson turns 3!!!

Birthday morning we surprised Jameson with dinosaur brownies to eat with friends who were coming over for a playdate.

Jameson and his friend Kaylee admiring daddy's artwork :)

Jameson was so excited about the brownies that he made sure all of his dinosaur "friends" were part of the celebration.
Jameson's actual friends (lol) brought over balloons which added to the celebration that morning.
In the evening, we had a birthday dinner and cake - again dinosaur themed, specifically green T-Rex (Jameson's favorite).

We all need a little help from our friends :)

Joining in the fun!

Present time.  At 3 years old, Jameson has known all upper and lower case letters for a while now, along with the sounds they make and words with start with each letter....but he hasn't started to write any of them.  Hopefully, this writing pad can help build up some interest!

A party green T-Rex!!!  (Ignore the true but weird tag!)

We'll have lots of room for running bases in our new backyard.

The arm...an obvious substitution when you don't have a bat.

Cool toy for learning to build and use tools, bonus is that it equals some fun time with dad :)

We had Jameson's birthday party at Cool Beans, a coffee shop playhouse in town.  Our house was in the beginning stages of getting packed up for our move later that month, so a party at home wasn't going to happen!  We rented out the upstairs loft/party room.  They provided the cupcakes, punch, plates, table cloths, and party favors all inline with our dinosaur theme.  We added some balloons and Jameson's dinosaur figures and it all came together perfectly.

You can see some of the play area downstairs.

Playtime downstairs.

Playing with friends in the foam pit.

Cupcake time.

"Happy birthday to you...happy birthday to you..."

That much red icing hurts my teeth too...lol!

We're still minus a couple of friends, but at least in this shot you can see most of who made it into the picture!
